It's always a bit of a surprise of what you get if you visit Salon, an art, fashion and design event in Amsterdam. Locations are an interesting reflection of the history of Amsterdam, from 17th century 'grachtenpand' to modern dutch design retail location. The presented work sometimes interacts successfully with the location, other times it feels like it's just been dropped there. In total a very variable experience with much more potential.
